CONTENDER TARGET CROSSBOWS
Southern Crossbows
The
product of nearly fifty years of combined Australian and New
Zealand experience, these precision crossbows incorporate
modern technology with old-fashioned hand-craftsmanship and
uncompromising quality. The use of computer-aided design
techniques and modern production methods has resulted in an
affordable and accurate bow that can shoot tens!

The CONTENDER is available in two models, both based on the same platform. This makes it possible to "mix and match" different components and to upgrade as required.
Amended legislation concerning crossbows has been introduced in most Australian States. In most eastern Australian states, crossbows have been moved from being CONTROLLED WEAPONS to now being PROHIBITED WEAPONS. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY HAVE BEEN BANNED! This means that you now need a permit or a licence. PLEASE READ ALL THE DETAILS BEFORE PURCHASING |
Check out the Terms and Conditions before placing any orders. This list has been simplified. More details and prices can be obtained by contacting Ausbow Industries by email on sales@ausbow.com.au. Non-Australian customers should contact us for special prices exclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
* NOTES
1. As from January 2000 EASTON (R) stopped the manufacture of all 16 thousandths of an inch wall X7 ECLIPSE shafts. This means that "standard" 1716 X7 ECLIPSE shafts are now obsolete. SOUTHERN CROSSBOWS recommends 1714 or 1814 X7 ECLIPSE shafts.
2. SOUTHERN CROSSBOWS can now supply a foresight mounting post FSM0284 which allows you to fit your favourite archery sight. We can also supply Toxonics 3915 or the AXS2000. Both will fit into the standard CONTENDER foresight mounting bracket dovetail FSM0283.
